National Qualifying Times for Gippsland Swimmers

Gippsland swimmers are showing their strength early this season with a number already obtaining National qualifying times and securing their place at the Australian Age Championships held in Adelaide during 18-23 April 2011.

Dynamic young Traralgon swimmers Georgia Tsebelis (100m Free & 100m Back) Maggie O’Keefe (50m & 100m Free) Trent Morrow  (50m Free)  and Jordan Radosavljevic (100m Back) have all qualified, along with talented East Gippland Water Dragons swimmer Lily Collins (100m & 200m Breast)

A new face at nationals this year will be Warragul swimmer Sean Bulmer who recently qualified for the 100m Breaststroke.  Joining him will be squad mate Kate Sommerfield (100m & 200m Breast) who is attending her third Australian Age championships.

With the long course season only just underway some fine performances are expected from a number of swimmers at Victorian State & Country Championships which should result in a large Gippsland contingency making the trip to Adelaide.
