I. Scoring.
(a) Open
I1.(a) Points shall be allocated for the number of teams competing in the Association reducing by one (l) for each place. E.g. for eight (8) teams:-

I2.(a) Double points to be allocated for team relays and relay meets on the same principle as above, but reducing by two (2). For this purpose a relay shall be an event in which there are four (4) swimmers. E.g. for eight (8) teams:-

I3.(a) In the event of a tie in the final aggregate, joint winners shall be declared and Pennants awarded to each successful club and the shield held jointly.
(b) Interclub
I1.(b) When two (2) pools are used points shall be allocated for the maximum number of teams competing at either pool reducing by one (l) point for each place. E.g. 6 teams at pool #1, 7 teams at pool #2

I4.(b) In the event of a tie at any swim meet in points gained those teams concerned shall all receive equal place premiership points and the next placed team ( or "places" in the event that there are more than two (2) teams involved ) shall not move up one place. E.g.

I5.(b) In the event of a tie in the final premiership points, the team points shall decide the final placing and the top team shall be declared the winner.
I6.(b) The premiership point scoring system in the Inter-club will only be applied when two pools are used.
(c) Interclub Open
I1.(c) When this type of meet is swum the scoring shall be in two (2) parts, Open and Inter-club. The Open scoring will be as in By-Law Il.(a) The Inter-club scoring will be as in By-Law I2.(c)
I2.(c) The system used in By-Law Il.(a) will apply, however, for Inter-club points, the first swimmer from each club to finish shall gain points. E.g. 8 clubs in competition.

I1.(d) A11 pair's events are to be scored as individual events.
I2.(d) Handicap, Nearest to Nominated Time and Distance meets are to be scored as in By-law I1.(a), when points are to be awarded.
I2.(d) Relay meets are to be scored as in By-Law I2.(a).
